Writing your next great email subject line

If there was anything close to mandatory reading for MailPoet users, this would be it.

It's something that I've wanted to write myself for a long time.

It's our talented guest writer, Becs Rivett, who instead gracefully penned these 7 tips for you.

Read all of them our blog.

Stop subscribers ignoring your emails

In part 1, we learned about ways to engage your inactive subscribers.

Those are the ones who haven't opened or clicked one of your newsletters in the last 3 to 6 months.

In part 2, we look at how to apply these strategies in MailPoet.

The biggest WordCamp on the Old Continent

Four of us participated at WordCamp Europe (WCEU) last weekend in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria.

It was a three day event attended by around 1000 people from 20 countries, at least.

Our teammate Rocìo (read more about her below) was a volunteer, and a speaker. MailPoet was a Silver Sponsor. It's hard to be more involved.

It was a good opportunity to see old faces, meet new people, and get a feel of the vibe.

Plenty of people asked me about our security issue, and how we handled it behind the scenes. The community shares our concern for plugin security, to say the least.

Finally, are you going yourself to a WordCamp near you? You should. Checkout the schedule of all WordCamps. There are many, everywhere.

Send custom emails per product in WooCommerce

Ever wanted to send emails automatically to customers who purchased a specific product?

There's an add-on just for that.

We're mentioning it here again because:

• Quite a few users ask us for this feature

• It's at a pretty fair price of under $25

• Lucy, one of the authors, is actively working on improving it

• We're not affiliated, we're simply promoting hard work

PHP, JS, and Ruby developers, we're looking for you

In less than 3 years, we've gone from 3 guys to a team of 12 fine folks.

We're now looking for raw talent to help us double our user base to 200,000 active sites, reach new technical heights, and be proud of doing it right.

Check out our jobs page, or forward this email to your talented friends looking for a real challenge.

Welcome Rocìo!

A third full time support teammate has joined us last month.

We welcome Rocìo (@rociovaldi), from Seville in Spain, who joins our international team.

She's still learning the ropes, and is quickly getting up to speed.

She's a true WordPress community member, with a variety of very practical skills, and knowledge.

Read more on what she brings to you, and our team.

Our colleague Tung leaves us

It's with a pinch in our hearts that our colleague Tung leaves us after nearly 2 years in our team.

He's the man behind our Premium Statistics page, hundreds of mini improvements, lots of bug fixes, and plenty of level 2 support.

He's launching his own venture unrelated to WordPress. We can only wish him total success. Hopefully, he has learnt from all the mistakes we did.

Feel free to wish him well yourself, especially those who had plenty of interactions with him: tung@mailpoet.com
