News from Yoast!
It has been a while since our previous newsletter, so we have loads to tell you! First of all, we would like to introduce you to our new team members! We have recently welcomed Taco Verdonschot, a web developer and Louise Willems who is our secretary. Also, Marieke van de Rakt decided to join team Yoast on a more permanent basis. Team Yoast now consists of 8 enthusiastic people. Together, we are currently working on the development of new products. We have a lot of exciting new plans for the near future!
Recently, we have released the WooCommerce SEO plugin, which integrates WooCommerce with our SEO plugin, making the two much more compatible and easier to use. Also, we have pre-released our WordPress SEO Premium Plugin. Users of our most popular plugin can now buy the Premium version in order to receive support. Joost de Valk is currently developing new functionality for the SEO Premium plugin.
Next to development of new products, Yoast started sponsoring a local football team. Joost & Marieke's oldest son Tycho plays football at AWC in Wijchen. Their first match in Yoast-shirts was a derby against the other major football club in Wijchen: Woezik. Tycho de Valk made the winning goal in the final part of the match and AWC won with 2 against 1. Team Yoast is proud of the little players of the F5 team of AWC! Little things can be great too!
